The Lake Lure NC invitation to join pastor leaders at White Oak Point was an amazing and inspirational experience.

The cabins accommodations and amenities exceeded expectations.

With lead Pastors, Navigators, CBMC leaders, Outdoor Ministry, business owners and more all gathered together sharing and growing in faith and fellowship, I can’t think of attending a more significant growth event in my 40 years of walking in faith. Please prayerfully consider my attendance for next years event.

My family and I wanted to take a vacation to spend some quality time together. Michael Batenburg and his Back2basics Outdoor adventure ministry suggested a hunting, fishing adventure in Georgia. Let me tell you, we could not have asked for a better time. We were able to go Turkey and Hog hunting, fishing, and 4 wheeling. The excursions were amazing but the best part of the trip was being able to get Back2basics and spend quality time with loved ones away from electronic distractions. Not only were we surrounded by great hosts, the food was AMAZING! The accommodations were very comfortable cozy and clean. It was very Kid friendly, my nephews of 8,10 and 12 years all had a great time enjoying nature and learning many new outdoor skills that we are already planning our next trip. Thank you Michael and Pastor Kyle for such an amazing experience, I would recommend Back2basics outdoor adventures to everyone and am looking forward to our next adventure together.

I just wanted to give a special thanks to Michael and Back2Basics for such a special day on the water. Such a blessing to enjoy the bountiful gifts the Lord has given us along with his favor. Spending time with friends fishing creates such a positive environment and fellowship. I’m always thankful to enjoy and treasure these special moments. I’m looking forward to our next Back2Basics adventure and may the Lord bless you on all future endeavors.
