Faith-Based Activities at Indian Lake, Ohio

Just outside of Huntsville, Ohio there is a spectacular place called Indian Lake. Indian Lake is known for once being an Indian trade route linking the Ohio River to Lake Erie.

The lake also features a large wetlands area with channels where guests are able to view fish, mammals, waterfowl, and turtles. The lake lies on one of the most traveled bird migration routes; Indian Lake has become a resting area for Canadian geese, ducks, swans, and other birds. Even bald eagles can be spotted here.

This retreat location is located within the Indian Lake State Park and close to both Pew Island State Park and the Cranberry Resort.

Outback you’ll find a warm fire pit, dock for fishing, and all the sights & sounds of mother nature. This cabin does offer some of the comforts of home including a full kitchen, inside living & dining areas, wood burning fireplace, and even a washer and dryer.

With the water abutting Indian Lake State Park, you’ll have the opportunity to take break and picnic on the shore. Ohio is well known for their monster bucks, mainly due to the high abundance of agriculture in the area. Indian Lake is also a great region to turkey hunt in.
